HGV Class 2 Driver – Full Time | Cheltenham | Immediate Starts Available

MET Logistics are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Cheltenham.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, ongoing position with immediate starts available.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering palletised goods to a variety of commercial customers, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally, and on time.

Duties include:

• General haulage and palletised deliveries.
• Completing collections throughout the day.
• Typically 8–12 deliveries/collections per shift, covering both local and longer-distance routes.
• Using a tail lift and pump truck to unload deliveries where forklift facilities are unavailable.
• Working shifts averaging 10–12 hours.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you’ll need:

• A valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
• A minimum of 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
