Cold Store Operative – Immediate Start (Temp to Perm)

Location: Wolverhampton WV10
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm (long-term opportunities available)

We are currently recruiting Cold Store Operatives to join a busy food distribution environment. This is a great opportunity for reliable, hard-working individuals looking for long-term work with the potential to go permanent.

Available Shift Patterns

Option 1:

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm (PM shift)

Option 2:

• Saturday & Sunday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: Rotating shifts:
  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
    (Alternating AM/PM each week)

Key Responsibilities

• Working within a cold store in a food warehouse environment
• Picking and moving stock efficiently
• Operating warehouse equipment (where trained)
• Loading and unloading goods
• Heavy lifting involved
• Maintaining health & safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or food storage environment preferred
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and/or Reach Truck licence desirable but not essential
• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Physically fit due to manual handling and heavy lifting
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
