Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Minworth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 1:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

MET Recruitment is seeking a reliable and motivated Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client’s team in Minworth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse, production, or manufacturing environments who is looking for a stable, full-time position with opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Machine minding and supporting production processes as required.
• Loading and unloading company delivery vehicles.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Accurately counting, checking, and recording crates and equipment moving in and out of the warehouse.
• Completing delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Handling company equipment and property with care and professionalism.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence and relevant experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working towards performance targets and KPIs.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Full UK manual driving licence is desirable but not essential.
