Our client is a well-established and growing business based in the Wolverhampton area, and they are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Junior Transport Planner.

Job Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Support the senior transport planners with administrative duties.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers.
• Forward plan the availability of trailers, drivers, and equipment.
• Assist with effective route planning to maximise profitability.
• Process jobs and data onto the database/system with a high degree of accuracy.
• Assist drivers and customers with queries and troubleshoot any issues.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience within the transport industry (ideal but not essential).
• Previous Administration or Call Centre experience (essential).
• Organised and able to work well within a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
