Transport Planner

Temp – Perm

£30 – 35k per annum

7:30am – 5:30pm (1hr lunch)

We are currently recruiting for a experienced Transport Planner for one of our long standing and well established clients in the Bilston/Wolverhampton area. This role has been created due to the increase of workload and current success of the company.

Main duties:

• Assist with all enquiries/queries that come through, escalating if necessary.
• Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service possible.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, sub-contractors and the wider team.
• Process jobs with a high degree of accuracy.
• Any adhoc duties.
• Assist and troubleshoot any issues/problems.
• Other duties as required.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience in transport/haulage/planner.
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Have extremely strong attention to detail.
• Have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise workloads to maintain on task/target.
• Be adaptable and resilient.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
