£15 – £18 an hour + overtime – 5.5 days week with the .5 at 1.8

40 hours per week – Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the mechanics to get vehicles signed off quickly and safely.
• Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to identify any potential issues.
• A high standard of service and repairs for vehicles.
• Ensuring all work meetings safety and quality standards
• Prepping vehicles for MOT inspections
• Keeping accurate records for work performed and parts used.
• Assisting with the paperwork and records
• Routine maintenance including but not limited to oil change, tyre rotations and brake inspections.

Person Specification:

• Able to commit to working 4.5 hours on Saturdays
• Experience as a mechanical fitter
• Knowledge of HGV would be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team but also independently
• Strong co-operation with employer regarding health and safety matters
