MET are currently for a Machine Operator based in the Netherton area!

Job description

Key Duties:

• Carry out skilled TIG welding work and make good repairs to a high standard
• Set and run welding machine; plasma welds rods to links
• Prepare and load components onto the machine and make any necessary adjustments to produce the best results.
• Inspect and measure finished products
• Willing to learn new skills and other CNC machines.
• Confident working in a team in a busy factory environment.
• You have minimum 2 years’ experience.

Shifts:

Training on afternoons, then moving to mornings

• Monday – Friday5:30am to 2:30pm
  • Moving to after 5-6 weeks
• Mon – Thurs 2:30 to 10:45 (Training)
• Fri 11:30 to 5:30 (Training)

Pay:

• £13 Per hour 

Required to operate semi – automatic stainless steel welding machine must be capable of repairing faulty welds

Full machine training will be provided

40 hours per week possible overtime
