Job Role & Purpose
Responsible for interpreting and processing sales orders in an accurate and timely manner, resolving order queries and developing relationships with customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all e-mails and telephone conversations are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
- Sales order processing and working with customers to obtain ordering schedules wherever possible.
- Checking the progress of sales orders and keeping the customer updated
- Receiving and acknowledging sample requests form customers and working with the Design and Innovation Team and Account Managers to deliver in line with customer expectations.
- Providing delivery updates on a daily or weekly basis to customers.
- Filing and general office duties.
- Cover for other areas as and when required.
- Accepting incoming calls and actively promoting our products.
- Deal with a variety of different queries from customers and suppliers.
- Check stock availability as and when required.
- Develop relationships with key customers and contacts.
- Work with the rest of the sales team to identify new opportunities.
- Working with the Sales Team you will act as the lead to ensure the smooth running of all accounts with schedules, orders and deliveries.
- Developing relationships with key customers and contacts and looking to building, creating and maintaining long lasting client relationships.
- Work with all internal stakeholders and teams to ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered to customers.
- Ensuring quotations are completed and responded to as quickly as possible.
- Acting as a key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
