Receptionist / Administrator

Wednesbury | Full-Time | Permanent | On-site

Salary: c£28,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits

MET Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Receptionist / Administrator for their busy office in Wednesbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in creating a positive first impression. You’ll be the face of the business, managing reception duties while providing valuable administrative support across several departments.

The Role

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming visitors and managing front-of-house activities
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and visitor arrangements
  • Providing general office administration support
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
  • Data entry and document management
  • Assisting with invoicing, document preparation and commercial administration tasks
  • Handling customer and supplier enquiries professionally
  • Supporting colleagues across the business as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience within a Receptionist, Front of House or Administrative role
  • Has a professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Can prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy office environment
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
