Receptionist / Administrator

Salary: c£28,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits
MET Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Receptionist / Administrator for their busy office in Wednesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in creating a positive first impression. You’ll be the face of the business, managing reception duties while providing valuable administrative support across several departments.
The Role
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming visitors and managing front-of-house activities
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and visitor arrangements
- Providing general office administration support
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Data entry and document management
- Assisting with invoicing, document preparation and commercial administration tasks
- Handling customer and supplier enquiries professionally
- Supporting colleagues across the business as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience within a Receptionist, Front of House or Administrative role
- Has a professional and friendly telephone manner
- Possesses excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Has strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Can prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy office environment
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
