We are currently seeking an experienced estimator to join a well-established manufacturing company based within the  Oldbury area. The successful candidate will estimate potential projects and opportunities for the company’s products for customers and determine budget rates for Sales Representatives. Additionally, Identify and capitalise on opportunities to maximize sales in a professional manner, demonstrating teamwork and a positive attitude toward both clients and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities

• Process Quote requests via the relevant business process and configurator
• Liaise with Customers to maintain relationships and strengthen external intel
• To assist in general administration duties within the SOP and Estimating Team
• Carry out relevant training as and when required.
• General administrative tasks related to the position.
• Undertaking of any project within the skill set of the position.
• Undertaking business trips as and when required.
• To undertake any reasonable requests from Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and other members of staff

Other requirements

• Computer literate – with a good knowledge of all Microsoft applications
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Must be deadline and detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Customer focused
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities, organised and methodical
