Production Operatives 

Location: Tamworth
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm
Shift: 4-day working week
Pay: 12.71

MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives working within a busy GRP manufacturing environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a Monday to Thursday working pattern, giving you every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off! This is a TEMP – PERM role where you will be taken on after 12 weeks with MET!

The Role

As a Production Operative, you will be working with GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) to manufacture products to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Working with GRP and composite materials
• Laminating and applying fibreglass materials
• Preparing moulds and materials
• Trimming, finishing and checking products
• Using hand tools and production equipment
• Following manufacturing instructions and specifications
• Quality checking finished products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets

About You

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
• Happy working with GRP/fibreglass materials
• Able to follow instructions and production processes
• Quality focused with good attention to detail
• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Previous experience in GRP, fibreglass, composites or manufacturing would be advantageous, but full training can be provided for the right person
