Night Shift Injection Mould Setter

Location: Cannock
Hours: 40 – 48 hours per week
Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00pm–6:00am, Thursday, 10:00pm–6:00am
Pay: £14.50 per hour + £2.00 per hour night shift allowance

We’re looking for an experienced Injection Mould Setter to join our night shift team. This is primarily a hands-on setting role, with some responsibility for supporting and overseeing the night shift team when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Set, adjust and optimise injection moulding machines to achieve efficient, high-quality production.
• Carry out mould changes and process adjustments to minimise downtime.
• Monitor product quality and resolve any process or quality issues.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and escalate engineering issues where necessary.
• Complete production and shift documentation accurately.
• Support continuous improvement by helping reduce scrap, downtime and cycle times.
• Assist with training and supporting operators on shift.
• Help ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Act as the main point of contact on nights when required.

About You

• Previous experience setting injection moulding machines is essential.
• IMT Level 3 Setter qualification (or equivalent setting experience) preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Some supervisory or team-leading experience would be beneficial, but this is not the main focus of the role.
• Good problem-solving skills and a quality-focused approach.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently on night shift.
