Dispatch Team Leader
Location: Wednesbury
Salary: Up to £36,000
Full Time | Permanent | On-Site

We are recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Wednesbury.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing dispatch, route planning and logistics coordination, ensuring deliveries are organised efficiently and operational targets are achieved.

The role would suit someone from a transport, logistics, warehouse or manufacturing background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and leading from the front.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing daily dispatch and transport operations
• Planning delivery routes and schedules
• Coordinating drivers and workloads
• Leading and supporting the dispatch team
• Monitoring KPIs, delivery performance and accuracy
• Working closely with production and warehouse teams
• Supporting continuous improvement across operations

Experience required:

• Previous dispatch, transport or logistics experience
• Route planning experience is essential
• Experience leading or supervising a team
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• FLT and CPC preferred but not essential
• Manufacturing or warehouse background advantageous
• Good IT and administration skills
