Packaging Industry Experience Essential – Applications Without Packaging Experience Will Not Be Considered

Are you an experienced Sales Administrator currently working within the packaging manufacturing sector? Do you have experience managing customer enquiries, quotations and order processing within a fast-paced packaging environment?

We are recruiting a Sales Administrator to join an established packaging manufacturer. This is a specialist position and requires previous experience gained within a packaging manufacturing business.

Please note:

• Packaging industry experience is essential and non-negotiable.
• Candidates without packaging industry experience will not be considered.
• Experience of the Abaca ERP system is highly desirable.
• The business will be relocating to Bilston later this year, therefore applicants must be willing to travel to Bilston on a daily basis following the move.

The Role

• Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email
• Producing and following up quotations
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Liaising with internal departments regarding artwork, specifications and production requirements
• Keeping customers informed of order progress and delivery schedules
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally
• Maintaining accurate customer records
• Supporting the wider sales office and external sales team
• Ensuring all information is accurately maintained within the ERP system

About You

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous experience working within a packaging manufacturing company
• Experience in a Sales Administration, Internal Sales or Customer Service role
• Strong order processing and quotation experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment

You will stand out if you have:

• Experience using the Abaca ERP system
• Knowledge of packaging products, manufacturing processes and artwork procedures
