CNC Setter Operator
£14–£15 per hour (Dependent on experience) | Day Shift (Mon–Fri)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to set, operate, and maintain CNC machines, producing precision components to quality and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC milling, turning, or multi-axis machines
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Select tooling, set offsets, speeds, and feeds
• Carry out first-off and in-process quality checks
• Maintain machine performance and report faults
• Follow SOPs, control plans, and safety procedures
• Support basic maintenance and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience:

• Proven CNC setting/operating experience
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances
• Confident using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers)
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Desirable:

• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
• CNC certifications

Working Hours:

• Mon–Thurs: 7:30am–4:00pm
• Fri: 7:30am–12:30pm
