We are currently seeking a motivated and commercially minded professional, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Road Freight Forwarding, specifically within the post-Brexit European market. This role is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a Queens award winning company. The successful candidate will  join a dynamic European team and will focus on both sales and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive freight quotes for clients within the European market.
• Proactively engage with potential and existing clients to close deals and drive revenue growth.
• Support operational teams with freight forwarding activities to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve service efficiency.
• Assist in contract negotiations and pricing strategy development.

Person specifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Road Freight Forwarding, with strong knowledge of post-Brexit regulations and processes.
• Commercially focused with proven success in sales and closing deals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to juggle sales targets with operational support effectively.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Proficient in freight quoting systems and CRM software.
