Our client who is a nationwide retailer is currently looking for a Warehouse Team Manager during a very busy time for them. This will be a 6 month temporary position to start however could lead into a permeant role for the right person.
Duties Include
- Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity targets
- Day to day management of warehouse colleagues
- Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
- Assist Operations Managers with daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished i.e. staffing, equipment, space
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures
- Deliver team member performance reviews
- Manage disciplinary and grievance issues in line with HR policy
- Ensure Company policies are communicated, implemented and enforced where appropriate
- Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for colleagues
- Responsibility for all issues relating to health & safety and the environment
Key Skills
- Strong Retail Warehouse experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements
- Excellent organisational skills

Hours
This will be on a three-shift rotating pattern
- Sunday – Thursday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm rotating
- Tuesday – Saturday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm
- Nights Transport Team Manager 6pm – 6am
Rate
£16 per hour
