Our client, a worldwide leading brand, currently has the need for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis, located in Kingswinford. The successful Warehouse Supervisor will be motivated and have great attention to detail with the ability to organise and champion continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Receiving, storing, and dispatching goods safely and efficiently
• Responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse
• Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
• Receive and record new inventory as it is delivered; inspect and store it according to policy
• Ensuring replenishments are made promptly to facilitate picking
• Liaison with warehouse manager to ensure orders are dispatched in line with customer’s requirements
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the warehouse function
• Delegating daily tasks to the warehouse team ensuring the most cost-effective methods are used
• Measuring the performance of the warehouse team and implementing individual training plans as required, in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager
• Ensuring all Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to

The successful candidate:

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role
• Ability to direct and coordinate warehouse operations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic work ethic with demonstrable man-management skills
• Knowledge of SAP
• FLT licence
