We are on the lookout for candidates with Ward Clerk experience that also have an updated enhanced DBS. The responsibility of the post is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a busy medical unit.
The Duties –
- Producing records for new patients
- Process intake and discharge forms as well as test results
- Inbound/Outbound calls
- Organize, update and file medical records
- Dealing with none-medical queries from patients
- First point of contact for visitors and patients
- General administration

- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Empathetic and friendly
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industries
- Strong communicational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Able to efficiently transition between tasks
- Proficient with IT skills including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc
- Quick learner, able to use in-house CRM systems keeping logs of interactions with patients
