We are looking for a Tool Repair Technician to work for a stockist and distributor of Air and Power Tools.

Key duties of the role:

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Identify spare part requirements
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts
• Troubleshoot and identify malfunctioning or inoperative equipment
• Assemble and test tools to validate performance
• Notify the Sales Team as to the required spare parts and repair time required
• Any further duties that are required

The successful candidate:

• Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Able to respond promptly to customer needs in a professional manner
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and machine parts drawings
• Able to write routine correspondence
• Be proficient in basic computer skills
• Ability to PAT test is desirable, although not essential

What’s on offer?

• Hours: 8am – 5pm with 1-hour lunch (flexibility may be required)
• Salary: £20,000 per annum
