Our client a manufacturer of products across a broad spectrum of industries has a requirement for a Sales Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will join the internal sales team and be responsible for the administration process within a sales environment and will play a key role in supporting the external sales team and providing an important link between the sales department and the customer.

The responsibilities of the role are:

  • Raising enquiry/order acknowledgements
  • Preparing quotations
  • Liaising with customers via telephone and email
  • Liaising with ither departments such as production and external sales
  • Involvement in lean processes
  • Providing assistance with customer orders, requests and queries
  • Processing sales orders received onto the computer system
  • Carrying out general admin duties within the office including filing, etc

The successful candidate will

  • Proven experience working in a sales administration role
  • Possess knowledge of sales processes would be advantageous
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be able to meet deadlines
  • Have good telephone manner and strong customer service skills
  • Excellent level of computer literacy and be able to communicate well at all levels with people in different departments
  • Be able to work as part of a small team as well as be confident to work using own initiative
  • Will possess a positive attitude to work
