HR Advisor
Permanent – Full Time

£30,000 – £32,00 per year
Our client, a manufacturer of sustainable packaging materials based in Wednesbury requires a HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- To respond to HR Enquiries in a timely fashion
- Provide management information and ad hoc reports as and when required
- Support and guide managers with end-to-end case management for all employee relation cases
- Actively promote following HR policies and processes and employment legislation
- Continually review and suggest improvements in the HR systems and processes
- Undertake research and review policies and procedures
- Develop effective relationships with the business to promote good employee relations
- Drive HR initiatives and projects such as systems, talent management, OD, resourcing, and organisational change
- Own or assist on ad-hoc projects
- Partner with managers to provide advice and training on policies/processes
- Support delivery of L&D across the site
- Monitor, analyse and report on absence
- Deputise the HR Administrator in their absence
- Coach, mentor and develop staff including overseeing new starters
- Receive complaints and resolve problems contribute to decisions on reward and promotion
- Manage and record attendance including timekeeping, sickness, absence and annual leave
- Promote and follow all Health and Safety guidelines and training
The Successful Candidate:
- Experience with a similar role is essential – ideally HR Generalist experience
- CIPD qualified (or working towards)
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in giving advice to support and guide managers
- Able to commit to working on site
- Experience dealing with HR initiatives and projects i.e. systems, talent management, OD, resourcing and organisational changes
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring and developing employees
- Experienced in performance management processes and attendance procedures
- Prior experience of complaint handling and resolutions

- Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
