Our client, a well-established company, who are experiencing growth within the UK industry, currently has the need for a Business Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The successful Business Development Manager will support and grow the company’s customer base by travelling around the UK and meeting with current and new/potential clients.

- Basic Salary of £44,000 plus attractive bonus structure
- Minimum 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Hours to suit nature of business)

Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management (40%) – Understanding current customers and building relationships
- Business Development (60%) – Research and identify new leads
- Following up leads and booking 4 – 6 client appointments per day via phone and email
- Managing own diary/schedule
- Face-to-face meetings with potential customers
- Understanding the business’s products and services to sell and retain custom
- Provide quotations and negotiate prices
- Liaising with different industries
The Successful Candidate:
- Have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a sales role
- Able to commit to national travel
- Must hold a Full UK driving licence
- Have an enthusiastic approach to sales and business development
- Be well organised and have great attention to detail
- Good communication skills, face-to-face, verbal and written
- Ability to travel to the office based in Kingswinford, 2/3 times a month
- A background in retail or agriculture would be advantageous
