Bookkeeper
West Bromwich
Circa £30,000 – depending on experience
Mon – Fri | 9am- 5pm
MET Recruitment is excited to be working with a prestigious client in the West Bromwich area. My client is looking for a real all-rounder, someone who is happy to get stuck in with the day-to-day running of the accounts department. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and you are happy to get stuck in with the team.
Duties of the Bookkeeper:
- Dealing with sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments
- Verifying hours and calculating overtime and shift payments
- Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Help to prepare annual accounts
- Bank reconciliation
- Being a point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role essential
- AAT level 3 or qualified by experience
- A good communicator
- Experience with stats such as SSP & SMP
- Ability to work well under pressure

- Salary of circa £30,000 – depending on experience
- Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm
